I had tried painting eagles and other birds a few times. None were very good, but they weren’t horrible either. When the Philadelphia Eagles won the 2017 season NFC Championship and we knew they were headed to the Super Bowl, I figured I would give it another shot. I had just purchased colored ink and thought, let me try painting an eagle using green paint. This was the result. Unfortunately, after it dried and I was looking at the scroll, I realized I used green for the head. I should have used black. Oh well, when they win the NFC Championship again, I’ll try again.
The Chinese on the left reads, “Fly, Eagles Fly” (Fēi Lǎoyīng Fēi [飛老鷹飛]); it’s the Philadelphia Eagles fight song. At least, I think it does. I don’t really speak Chinese yet. I am working on it, but I am not there just yet.
